Athletes are making wrong use of HGH (hormone growing pills) for increasing their performance and coaches are getting worried about it. The benefit of HGH over steroids (a drug for treating injuries that some people use illegally in sport to make their muscles stronger) is that HGH helps in building lean muscle and in reducing body fats and it also aids in developing athlete’s build. It is hard to test for it, hence securing athletes from risk of being crapped.

Following are the instances where the coaches convey their worry about the improper usage of HGH by athletes or players:

The instance of Arizona Diamondback shows the improper usage of HGH in a way by pitching Jason Grimsley which makes the coaches worried that the athletes would accept Grimsley’s lead and initials the consumption of HGH for improving the performance and physics. Jason would sit out of those 50 games as he has used enhancing substance which includes HGH (human growth hormone).

Rob Davini also showed the same concern, who is the executive director of NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL ASSOCIATION. In Arizona, he was the coach of high school and also of college baseball for more than 35 years. He said that it is quite difficult to find out those players who are using HGH. He stated:

“On the high school level kids are getting bigger and stronger, but I can’t tell if that’s to do with HGH or if they’re just going through a growth spurt.”

Accordingly to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, around 10 percent of students of the school have tried out along with using anabolic steroids.

At the American College of Sports Medicine, Gary wadler stated that:

” We were all concerned about steroid use in schools; now we’re concerned with HGH use trickling down to high schools because they’re role modeling off these sports figures.”

At Rockport High Scholl, for 32 years, Jim Hall was the coach of baseball and football said that the players are using HGH for their performance is not a new thing in sports and he stated that:

“Major League Baseball knew about this for a long time, and they just turned their back,” “No one complained because they were hitting home runs and making megabucks.”

Dick Durbin, D-Ill. and legislators stand by their point of view for clearing up Major League Baseball. “It’s scary that it’s out there. It’s scary that kids want to use it,” Hall said.

In spite of knowing the risks of HGH, the Drug Enforcement Administration didn’t act for the reason that HGH doesn’t come under the Controlled Substances Act as such Department of Justice can stop you if you have intention of distributing these substances. However, HGH is regarded legal for the reason that it is being used for medicinal purposes.
